The Federal Government's SBA program (Small Business Administration) identified ICWGroup's Insurance Company of the West and Explorer Insurance Company as being "2 of the top 10 writers of Surety Bonds", for the fiscal year 2004. This list is based on individual surety's level of participation in both the Prior Approval and the Preferred Surety Bond Guarantees Programs.
