June is National Safety Month! Established by the National Safety Council, National Safety Month is an annual observance designed to educate communities on how to help keep each other safe and reduce risk in the workplace. What is National Safety Month

The National Safety Council (NSC) has been designating June as National Safety Month since 1993 to raise awareness about leading safety hazards and to promote practices that help prevent injuries and save lives. Each week of the month focuses on a different safety topic, empowering individuals and organizations to make safety a priority year-round. Whether it’s preventing slips, trips, and falls; hazard recognition; or emergency preparedness, National Safety Month is a call to action for building a safer future for everyone by focusing on safety and health all month long.

Promoting Safety This June
