Senior Executive Brings More than 20 Years of Work Comp Experience
SAN DIEGO – Dec. 15, 2014 – ICW Group Insurance Companies, a leading national multiline property and casualty insurer, has named Rick Fineman, CSP, ALCM, ARM, vice president of risk management services (RMS). Reporting to the senior vice president of workers’ compensation underwriting, Paul Zamora, Fineman will design and execute the company’s nationwide RMS strategy to support ICW Group’s $600 million workers’ compensation business and more than 7,000 policyholders.

Prior to joining ICW Group, Fineman was assistant vice president of safety and health at Zenith Insurance Company. He was previously vice president and general manager, loss prevention at Liberty Mutual, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s commercial market underwriting into the Alaskan marketplace. Additionally, Fineman helped lead the integration of agency market loss prevention groups into the commercial market loss prevention group.
He is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, American Industrial Hygiene Association and the National Safety Council. Fineman is also an Associate of Loss Control Management (ALCM), an Associate of Risk Management (ARM), a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and earned his bachelor’s in occupational safety and health from Central Washington University.
