In the Wake of Hurricane Irma, ICW Group Takes Steps to Provide Continued Coverage for Affected Policyholders

ICW Group enacts directives for Customers Located in or Around Counties Declared Disaster Areas by Florida Insurance Commissioner David Altmaier

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 20, 2017— As Hurricane Irma leaves widespread damage in its wake throughout Florida, ICW Group Insurance Companies announced today that it is taking steps to provide relief to policyholders in affected areas. This includes suspending nonrenewals, cancellations and extending additional claims deadlines.

ICW Group will offer relief in accordance with the Florida Department of Insurance Emergency Order, Case No. 214271-17-EO, issued by Commissioner Altmaier.
