Amanda Granger Reappointed to Help Shape the Strategy and Direction of CWCI
SAN DIEGO, April 8, 2019 — 
Amanda Granger, senior vice president of Workers’ Compensation Claims at ICW Group, a national leading group of property and casualty carriers, was reappointed to serve on the 2019 California Workers’ Compensation Institute (CWCI) Board of Directors at the Institute’s 55th annual meeting in Oakland.
“I’m honored to continue serving on the CWCI Board of Directors. Since joining the board in 2016, I’ve been fortunate to help shape the direction of the work comp insurance industry here in California — ICW Group’s largest market,” said Granger. “I’m proud to represent ICW Group and be a strong steward of our dynamic industry in partnership with my fellow board members. I’m excited to work together in driving positive change that delivers more value for our customers.”
As a board member, Granger will continue to help shape the strategy and direction of the organization. CWCI’s primary function is to generate reliable, objective data that can be used to identify and monitor system-wide trends, assist members in assessing their own operations, and to analyze key issues of interest to the workers’ compensation community and public policymakers.
The Institute, established in 1964, is a private, nonprofit association working to improve California workers’ compensation through research, information, education and representation. CWCI members include 22 insurer groups (comprised of nearly 200 underwriting companies that write and service more than 81 percent of California statewide workers’ compensation premium), as well as 34 of the largest public and private self-insured employers in the state.
