Workers’ Compensation Terrorism Endorsement Provision Announcement

All Active Policies to Receive Disclosure Endorsement

SAN DIEGO (February 22, 2021) — Effective Jan. 1, 2021, all ICW Group Insurance Companies workers’ compensation policyholders began receiving the updated Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act Disclosure Endorsement when their policy was issued.

The National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) recently extended the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act (TRIPRA) of 2019 for seven years. Additionally, it was announced that form WC 00 04 22C, the Terrorism Risk Insurance Program Reauthorization Act Disclosure Endorsement, must be attached to all active policies effective the beginning of this year.

The provisions of the TRIPRA also applies to any policy issued in 2020. This covers the gap between Jan. 1, 2021 and the renewal date of each policy issued last year. To meet this requirement, ICW Group will endorse all of these policies. Agents will receive notification of the endorsement once completed to provide to their policyholders.

For more information on the TRIPRA of 2019 and the Discloser Endorsement, review the NCCI circular or contact your ICW Group Business Development Underwriter.
